Make a difference supporting students’ well-being as an onsite school psychologist within an elementary school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families to foster academic, emotional, and behavioral growth for children.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Delaware School Psychologist license required
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results for educational planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Willingness to obtain or provide proof of completed $85 CBC fingerprinting
Role Overview:
- Serve onsite at an elementary school, supporting students’ psychological assessment and intervention needs
- Provide direct counseling services to students individually and in groups, based on IEP goals and student needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding educational and behavioral interventions
- Develop and implement strategies for academic, social, emotional, and behavioral support
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Document services and maintain thorough records according to compliance standards
Details:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 35 hours each week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Contract runs from ASAP through June 8, 2027
