Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active School Psychologist License in South Carolina
- Graduate degree from an accredited program in School Psychology
- Previous experience working in K-12 schools strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of special education evaluation procedures, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Federal/State regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students as part of eligibility and intervention processes
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student success and well-being
- Provide direct student counseling and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain clear, confidential documentation and timely reporting
- Offer crisis intervention and participate in school safety initiatives as needed
