Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active School Psychologist License in South Carolina
• Graduate degree from an accredited program in School Psychology
• Previous experience working in K-12 schools strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of special education evaluation procedures, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Federal/State regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students as part of eligibility and intervention processes
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student success and well-being
• Provide direct student counseling and recommend evidence-based interventions
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain clear, confidential documentation and timely reporting
• Offer crisis intervention and participate in school safety initiatives as needed
