School Psychologist - Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
• Familiarity with IEP process and special education regulations
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to provide counseling, behavioral consultation, and interventions in school settings
• Previous school-based experience (preferred, but not required for outstanding candidates)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and behavior intervention plans
• Offer consultation to educators and families regarding students’ learning and behavior
• Facilitate and participate in crisis response, prevention, and intervention services
• Promote positive social, emotional, and academic development in the school community
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal requirements
