This full-time contract opportunity is designed for skilled and compassionate School Psychologists eager to provide vital services such as initials and re-evaluations (with a caseload of approximately 50). You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, ensuring students have the resources and support they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
  • Previous experience with evaluations, initials, and re-evaluations in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation techniques, and IEP development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families
  • Ability to work independently across multiple school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
  • Support a diverse range of students across both elementary and middle school grade bands
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success and compliance with mandated timelines
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and services provided
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior intervention and support strategies as needed
