This full-time contract opportunity is designed for skilled and compassionate School Psychologists eager to provide vital services such as initials and re-evaluations (with a caseload of approximately 50). You'll collaborate closely with educators and families, ensuring students have the resources and support they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
- Previous experience with evaluations, initials, and re-evaluations in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation techniques, and IEP development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families
- Ability to work independently across multiple school environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
- Support a diverse range of students across both elementary and middle school grade bands
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success and compliance with mandated timelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and services provided
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior intervention and support strategies as needed
