As the School Psychologist, you’ll be instrumental in implementing MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support), conducting comprehensive student evaluations, and participating in IEP meetings to shape individualized education programs. Your ability to travel between sites and serve various schools makes you a valuable resource to teams and families across the district.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Completed Michigan School Psychologist certification (required)
- Experience supporting K-12 student populations
- Strong background in completing assessments and evaluations
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) strategies
- Confident communicator and effective at facilitating IEP team meetings
- Comfortable in an itinerant role, providing services across multiple school locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for support
- Support implementation of MTSS at the school and district levels
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective interventions
- Attend and contribute to IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Deliver consultative and direct services to students as needed
Compensation for this full-time opportunity ranges from $50/hr to $55/hr, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
