Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing expert psychological services at two schools in the Holton area. In this contract role, you'll support a diverse K-12 caseload of 63 students, helping foster positive learning environments and equitable access to education. With a 21-hour workweek, you'll enjoy a balanced schedule while collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain state credentials
  • Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of initial and 3-year re-evaluation processes
  • Familiarity with pre-referral interventions and manifestation determination hearings
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and across various school sites

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and participate in initial and triennial evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Provide support and guidance during manifestation determination hearings related to student discipline
  • Collaborate on pre-referral intervention strategies to assist students in need
  • Maintain thorough documentation as required by educational guidelines and best practices
  • Advocate for students’ academic and social-emotional success across two assigned schools
