Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Current School Psychologist certification or licensure valid in Minnesota
- Demonstrated experience participating in IEP goal development and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) using Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
- Expertise in interpreting and applying state and federal statutes, codes, and educational regulations
- Excellent consultation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, administrators, and families
- Prior experience in a school-based setting providing direct psychological services and evaluations
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services including assessment, consultation, and direct interventions to students across assigned sites
- Participate actively in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrative staff to promote positive student outcomes and ensure legal compliance
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation consistent with regulatory and district standards
This role offers a full-time, 40-hour work week, with flexibility for both onsite and virtual/remote (VOCO) service delivery from the end of August through December.
