Exciting contract opportunities are available for dedicated School Psychologists to serve students for the 2026–2027 school year near Houston, TX. These roles offer the chance to make a measurable difference across several campuses, providing assessment and counseling support in both South and West Houston locations. Candidates will be working on-site, with potential flexibility for report writing from home, and assignments are set to begin as soon as possible through May 28, 2027.

To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Active Texas School Psychologist license or credential (snapshot documentation required)
  • Proven school-based experience, preferably supporting diverse student populations
  • Willingness to work on-site across approximately five campuses (location preference available)
  • Full-time availability (37.5 hours/week)
  • Reliable transportation to travel between campus sites
  • Ability to complete district-mandated fingerprinting promptly upon contract acceptance

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and preparing detailed reports
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop student support plans
  • Delivering direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of behavior interventions
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to special education eligibility determinations
