Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Prior school-based psychology experience is highly preferred
  • Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload (approximately 63 students)
  • Strong skills in conducting initial and three-year re-evaluations
  • Familiarity with pre-referral interventions and manifestation determination hearings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, faculty, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments, initial evaluations, and mandated three-year re-evaluations for referred students
  • Provide expert consultation on pre-referral interventions to support classroom staff and enhance student outcomes
  • Participate in manifestation determination hearings related to student discipline, ensuring compliance and advocacy
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
