Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior school-based psychology experience is highly preferred
- Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload (approximately 63 students)
- Strong skills in conducting initial and three-year re-evaluations
- Familiarity with pre-referral interventions and manifestation determination hearings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, faculty, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments, initial evaluations, and mandated three-year re-evaluations for referred students
- Provide expert consultation on pre-referral interventions to support classroom staff and enhance student outcomes
- Participate in manifestation determination hearings related to student discipline, ensuring compliance and advocacy
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
