Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active and valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of evaluation methods, counseling strategies, and evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential student information with professionalism and care
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, including cognitive, academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations
- Develop and implement data-driven interventions for students in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and parents
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing meaningful insights to support student needs
- Provide group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, and consultations as necessary
- Support positive behavioral intervention strategies and foster a safe, supportive school climate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote academic achievement and mental wellness
