Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
- Active Alabama School Psychologist certification or eligibility required
- Experience working with K–12 students preferred
- Strong background in psychoeducational evaluations and behavior management
- Knowledge of special education laws, eligibility processes, and IEP development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience
Position Details
- Full-time travel assignment for the 2026–2027 school year
- Elementary caseload
- Focus on evaluations, assessments, and behavior management support
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
- Additional caseload details discussed during interview
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support behavior intervention planning and implementation
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
