School Psychologist – Travel Position

Location: Huntsville, AL
Setting: K–12
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours per Week
School Year: 2026–2027

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
  • Active Alabama School Psychologist certification or eligibility required
  • Experience working with K–12 students preferred
  • Strong background in psychoeducational evaluations and behavior management
  • Knowledge of special education laws, eligibility processes, and IEP development
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

  • Full-time travel assignment for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Elementary caseload
  • Focus on evaluations, assessments, and behavior management support
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
  • Additional caseload details discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret assessment data and provide recommendations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support behavior intervention planning and implementation
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
