Qualifications:

  • Current and active Maryland School Psychologist License required
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Organizational skills to manage case files and adhere to timelines
  • Passion for advocating for students' emotional and academic needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide psychological evaluations for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to enhance student learning
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering professional insight and recommendations
  • Consult with teaching staff to develop classroom accommodations and behavior management plans
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention efforts
  • Document services, maintain student records, and ensure compliance with educational standards
