Step into a highly impactful contract opportunity as a school psychologist, providing critical support to elementary school sites in a collaborative educational environment. This role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to student outcomes while using your expertise in assessment, behavioral interventions, and team consultation. The assignment runs from August 26, 2026, until June 11, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35–37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland School Psychologist License required
  • Experience with IEP development, participation, and team collaboration
  • Strong background in Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), executive function assessment, cognitive testing, and behavioral support
  • Proficiency supporting eligibility decisions and conducting 504 Plan consultations
  • Experience or knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Ability to work across two elementary school campuses
  • Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, cognitive tests, and behavior assessments to inform instructional and program decisions
  • Participate actively in IEP and 504 Plan meetings; help teams with eligibility determinations, documentation, and effective planning
  • Support implementation and monitoring of BIPs, executive function plans, and behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff on MTSS initiatives, providing expertise on student needs
  • Engage in direct student services and consultation, both individually and in group settings

Flexibility is built into the role, with onsite work required, but possible hybrid scheduling (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) or VOCO options for qualified candidates.
