Qualifications:
- Current and active Maryland School Psychologist License required
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Organizational skills to manage case files and adhere to timelines
- Passion for advocating for students' emotional and academic needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide psychological evaluations for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to enhance student learning
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering professional insight and recommendations
- Consult with teaching staff to develop classroom accommodations and behavior management plans
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention efforts
- Document services, maintain student records, and ensure compliance with educational standards
