You'll primarily work with a 9th-grade center, but your support may also extend to elementary or middle school students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure in School Psychology
- Experience with counseling and conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Proficiency in supporting students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairments (OHI), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Dyslexia
- Capable of administering cognitive/achievement assessments for SLD and Dyslexia evaluations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and staff
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct counseling and consultation services to support students’ academic and emotional growth
- Perform comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, including cognitive and achievement testing for SLD/Dyslexia
- Develop and implement evidence-based FBAs and BIPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Offer expert guidance for program planning and student placement decisions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, assisting in the creation of effective, student-centered plans
- Deliver professional support and resources to school staff
