Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in school psychology (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in school psychology or related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with students navigating behavioral, mental health, social, and emotional challenges
  • Proficiency with tiered intervention strategies and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum
  • Skilled in supporting students with counseling goals included in an IEP
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Commitment to ethical school psychology practices and student confidentiality

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations for middle school students
  • Provide direct support and counseling to students as identified on IEPs or as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, guiding teams with expertise in mental health, SEL, and behavioral strategies
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of tiered interventions
  • Offer crisis intervention, consultation, and resources to faculty and families
