Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license or certification (required)
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong skills in conducting psychological and academic assessments
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Comfortable supporting a diverse group of students, including elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student evaluations and assessments, interpreting results and contributing to eligibility and intervention planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop educational strategies and interventions
- Provide consultation and support to staff and families regarding student needs, learning challenges, and behavioral concerns
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering insights to guide student support plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations
