Step into an impactful role as a School Psychologist serving students and staff in a collaborative educational environment near Indianapolis, IN. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of student support, focusing on special education evaluations and contributing to positive outcomes across three school buildings. Your expertise will play a key role in shaping educational plans and ensuring adherence to special education requirements.

Schedule & Setting:
Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM, with all services provided onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations each year to determine student needs and eligibility.
  • Provide direct support and consultative services in three school buildings, building strong relationships with staff and families.
  • Participate actively in monthly team meetings to discuss student progress and evaluation findings.
  • Ensure all evaluation, documentation, and compliance activities align with current special education laws and district standards.
  • Report directly to the district supervisor, sharing insights and updates on program implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana School Psychologist license.
  • Background in administering psychoeducational assessments and contributing to eligibility determinations.
  • Familiarity with special education law and a keen eye for compliance and detail.
  • Collaborative communication style, comfortable navigating complex situations with students, families, and staff.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous.
