Desired Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Indiana
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including report writing
- Familiarity with IEP process, Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education services
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working within K-12 school settings (preferred)
- Adaptability and cultural competence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Interpret test results and provide meaningful recommendations for students, teachers, and families
- Serve as an integral member of the IEP and student support teams
- Collaborate with school staff to implement evidence-based interventions
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and individual or group support as needed
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Facilitate positive school climate and advocate for student needs
