Make an impact by providing vital support for students across elementary grade levels as a School Psychologist. In this contract role, your expertise will play a key role in fostering a supportive educational environment. Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs, particularly within special education (SPED) settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure required
  • Prior experience working in elementary educational settings (1st-5th Grade) preferred
  • Strong understanding of SPED 26/27 requirements and protocols
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Adept at developing and implementing effective intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological services for students in grades 1 through 5, with a focus on special education support
  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights for eligibility determinations and individualized plans
  • Collaborate in developing and monitoring interventions tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as necessary
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records and uphold best practices in documentation
  • Provide professional development and guidance for school staff as requested
