Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure required
- Prior experience working in elementary educational settings (1st-5th Grade) preferred
- Strong understanding of SPED 26/27 requirements and protocols
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
- Adept at developing and implementing effective intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological services for students in grades 1 through 5, with a focus on special education support
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing insights for eligibility determinations and individualized plans
- Collaborate in developing and monitoring interventions tailored to students’ unique needs
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services as necessary
- Maintain accurate, confidential student records and uphold best practices in documentation
- Provide professional development and guidance for school staff as requested
