Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, or equivalent
- Current approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education
- Strong understanding of special education processes, assessments, and compliance standards
- Experience communicating effectively with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners across age levels
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough special education evaluations aligned with federal, state, and district requirements
- Provide psychological services and develop recommendations to foster student well-being and academic progress
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to create supportive interventions
- Maintain all documentation, reports, and timelines to ensure compliance
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
