Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology required
- Minimum two years’ experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- State certification as a School Psychologist is mandatory
- Proven ability to conduct thorough psychoeducational, cognitive, behavioral, and personality assessments
- Strong communication skills to convey evaluation results to parents, teachers, and teams
- Competency in crisis management, counseling, consultation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals
- Computer proficiency for case management, documentation, and assessment scoring
- Ability to handle confidential student and family information with professionalism
- Capable of meeting moderate physical requirements and multitasking on varied office equipment
Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive evaluations to assess special education eligibility
- Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
- Provide direct mental health support and counseling to individuals and groups
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive learning and behavioral outcomes
- Attend placement and IEP meetings, and coordinate crisis intervention efforts at school and district levels
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, participate in relevant professional development, and comply with all applicable laws and policies
With full-time hours (37.5 per week) available from August 2026 to May 2027, support the success and well-being of students while engaging in meaningful collaboration across disciplines.
