Step into a vital role supporting student success as a school psychologist on a full-time, onsite contract position for the academic year. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by providing expert psychoeducational evaluations and mental health services from August through May. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in school psychology and state certification as a School Psychologist
  • At least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop detailed reports
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and external agencies
  • Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting a variety of psychological assessments
  • Comfortable using technology for recordkeeping, reporting, and assessments
  • Capable of adapting under pressure, handling crisis situations, and adhering to best professional standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine special education eligibility and prepare thorough reports
  • Observe, assess, and support students’ behavioral and emotional needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling to address mental health concerns
  • Consult with teachers, families, administrators, and outside specialists to promote student development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP planning and student support strategies
  • Deliver crisis intervention and coordinate management programs as needed
  • Collaborate with community and medical professionals for comprehensive student support
  • Stay current with the latest legislation, research, and best practices in school psychology
  • Complete necessary documentation, including Medicaid forms, in line with regulatory guidelines
