Exciting new opportunity for a full-time Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) is now available in the Lancaster, Texas area and surrounding communities. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in local schools, collaborating closely with educators, students, and families to support student development and well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas LSSP licensure required
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and report writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and recommend supports
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive educational outcomes
  • Deliver staff and parent training on relevant mental health concerns and support strategies
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and other student-focused planning
