Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in a contract role spanning the 2026-2027 school year. Serve schools in the Irving, TX area, with flexible options to work part-time or full-time. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to comprehensive student support and positive educational outcomes.
In this role, you’ll engage in student assessments, evaluations, and participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings. The caseload includes students from kindergarten through high school. Bilingual candidates may have the chance to support either 1-2 campuses or assist the early childhood team districtwide. While onsite presence is key for much of the role, there’s flexibility to work from home when writing reports or handling additional paperwork. Counseling and cognitive/achievement testing are not part of this job’s scope, allowing you to focus your expertise on evaluations and collaborative processes.
Ideal candidates bring:
- Valid School Psychologist credentials and licensure for the state of Texas
- Experience working in school settings, supporting K-12 populations
- Familiarity with assessments, evaluations, and participation in ARD meetings
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred
- Comfort managing a steady volume of 8-12 evaluations per month
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
