Qualifications & Credentials:
- Active Texas state licensure: Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist
- Educator credential as a School Psychologist issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Previous experience in school-based settings highly desired
- Strong clinical, assessment, and counseling skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and registry list search during onboarding
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students PreK-12
- Develop intervention strategies and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, consultation, and support for students, families, and staff
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal standards in practice
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that nurtures student growth and well-being
