School Psychologist in Irving, TX

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Active Texas state licensure: Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist
• Educator credential as a School Psychologist issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Previous experience in school-based settings highly desired
• Strong clinical, assessment, and counseling skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary educational teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Successful completion of fingerprinting and registry list search during onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students PreK-12
• Develop intervention strategies and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling, consultation, and support for students, families, and staff
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal standards in practice
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that nurtures student growth and well-being
