Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and multi-tiered systems of support
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and students
  • Knowledge of assessment instruments, counseling techniques, and data-driven decision making

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment
  • Interpret test results and communicate findings in a clear, concise manner to staff and families
  • Develop individual intervention plans and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavior intervention strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services
  • Assist school staff in identifying at-risk students and recommend targeted supports
  • Participate in professional development activities and contribute to a positive school climate
