Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina is required
  • Certification to work in schools (elementary, middle, or high school level)
  • Experience conducting a variety of evaluations and psychoeducational assessments
  • Familiarity working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Interpret assessment results to inform eligibility, services, and programming for students
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, counselors, and families, to develop effective learning strategies and interventions
  • Participate in special education meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
  • Support crisis intervention, prevention, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance

This full-time opportunity consists of 37.5 hours per week during the school year, allowing you to dedicate focused time to assessments and multifaceted support for students at every developmental stage.
