Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working with junior high or adolescent populations
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and outside agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity for maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Develop and help implement intervention and support plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and provide input on student progress
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Engage in consultation with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a positive school environment
