Make a meaningful impact in young students’ lives as a School Psychologist in an elementary setting near Jersey City, NJ. This full-time, contract-based opportunity offers 35 hours per week and the unique chance to work as an itinerant professional, supporting multiple school communities.

In this dynamic position, you will provide vital support and guidance by conducting comprehensive evaluations and actively participating in IEP meetings. Collaboration will be at the heart of your daily interactions as you work closely with teachers, parents, school administrators, and other staff members to cultivate a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey School Psychologist Certification is required
• Experience working in elementary school settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with conducting student evaluations and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations
• Consult with teachers and staff to support students’ academic and emotional growth
• Partner with families and administrators to advocate for student success
• Travel between school sites as an itinerant team member

This role offers competitive hourly compensation between $55 and $62, depending on experience and qualifications.
