Travel School Psychologist in Jersey City, NJ

A school psychologist position is available to support educational and mental health needs within a school setting located in Jersey City, NJ. This travel role requires providing comprehensive psychological services to students, staff, and families, enhancing academic and social-emotional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
• Support school-wide initiatives related to mental health and positive behavior interventions

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology
• Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for this assignment
