You'll provide essential psychological services to students in varied educational co-op settings. Flexibility is needed, as assignments may be within multiple districts—ensuring no two days are exactly alike.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement
- Previous experience handling cross-categorical caseloads is highly valued
- Solid understanding of evidence-based interventions and best practices for students with diverse needs
- Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
- Positive, adaptable approach to working in multi-district or co-op environments
- Reliable transportation for commuting to various assigned locations
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in developing and monitoring IEPs and interventions
- Provide direct and consultative support for academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Participate in cross-district co-op meetings, problem-solving teams, and multidisciplinary evaluations
- Maintain accurate documentation and foster cooperative relationships with all stakeholders
