Requirements:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist Certification
- Previous experience in an elementary school (K-5) setting
- Strong skills in student evaluations and assessment
- Familiarity with the MTSS process
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-5 students
- Take an active role in implementing and supporting the MTSS framework
- Attend school meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions
- Collaborate with the school’s Social Worker and SLP to address each student’s unique needs
- Provide recommendations, resources, and consultation for staff and families
Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $55 per hour, with eligible candidates also having access to healthcare benefits, housing, and meals or incidentals.
