Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a part-time School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work three days per week, collaborating with students from kindergarten through age 21. Key Qualifications:
- Current Illinois School Psychologist Certification is required
- Previous experience in educational or school-based settings is preferred
- Strong skills in conducting assessments and evaluations for a range of student needs
- Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Demonstrated capability to implement supportive interventions and behavioral strategies
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations for students on your caseload (K-21 years old)
- Conduct classroom observations to inform recommendations and interventions
- Lead push-in small groups supporting students’ emotional and social development
- Attend staff and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and plans
- Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation in compliance with state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for educators and families, providing consultation and support as needed
Pay for this position ranges from $45 to $55 per hour. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for healthcare benefits, as well as housing and meal/incidentals assistance.
