This full-time contract opportunity allows you to support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being, working collaboratively with dedicated educators and support staff in two dynamic school settings.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience in conducting educational and behavioral assessments, developing individualized interventions, and facilitating IEP meetings
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to work with a diverse student population across different age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students in both junior high and kindergarten settings
- Consult with faculty, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Participate actively in the RTI/MTSS process, providing data-driven recommendations to support student success
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed within both buildings
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation and adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding special education
- Lead and contribute to IEP and 504 planning meetings to ensure appropriate services are in place for every student
