Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfort with administering and interpreting psychological assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students to identify strengths and areas of need
- Provide direct counseling and consultation services to students, families, and staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Serve as a resource to educators on classroom strategies, behavioral interventions, and crisis response
- Support school-wide initiatives for positive behavioral interventions and mental health awareness
- Maintain detailed and confidential student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
