Opportunity for a full-time School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year in Kansas City, KS. Serving a K-12 school, this contract position runs from July 28, 2025, through May 22, 2026, and requires onsite presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Provide consultation and effective communication with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Develop and implement programs addressing student needs and contributing to overall school improvement
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with state guidelines and Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Teaching Certificate with School Psychologist endorsement is required
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, educational laws, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff effectively
