Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience or strong interest in working with students who have intensive needs (non-verbal, physically impaired, AT device communicators)
• Knowledge of assessment tools and best practices for evaluating students with severe disabilities
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, specialists, and families
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple campus sites as needed
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students with significant disabilities
• Interpret assessment data to inform tailored educational programming and interventions
• Develop and present clear, comprehensive reports for IEP teams, parents, and educators
• Collaborate with special educators, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Provide recommendations for assistive technology or communication supports when appropriate
• Help ensure compliance with state and federal evaluation guidelines and timelines
• Offer consultation and support to school teams as they address student needs
