Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Current and valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, in accordance with state requirements
  • Previous experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of special education regulations, assessments, and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results to develop appropriate education programs
  • Providing individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies benefiting students' learning and well-being
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of intervention and prevention programs
  • Supporting the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participating in relevant meetings
  • Remaining up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and applying new knowledge to interventions
