Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current and valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, in accordance with state requirements
- Previous experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of special education regulations, assessments, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results to develop appropriate education programs
- Providing individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies benefiting students' learning and well-being
- Assisting in the design and implementation of intervention and prevention programs
- Supporting the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participating in relevant meetings
- Remaining up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and applying new knowledge to interventions
