This position is an excellent fit for credentialed School Psychologists ready to make a positive difference across several school campuses. As an itinerant professional, you’ll collaborate with educational teams to provide critical services for students, focusing predominantly on elementary grades with some middle school responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential issued by the Board of Examiners of Psychologist
  • Completion or verification of fingerprints with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) is required (process may take up to 10 business days)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting evaluations and implementing support plans for Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD; ability to provide FBAs, BIPs, and direct student services

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing psychological services and comprehensive evaluations in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Managing an itinerant caseload covering five nearby campuses, mostly elementary with some middle school assignments
  • Supporting educational teams and families by creating and monitoring behavioral intervention plans and functional assessments
  • Collaborating with educators and special services staff to promote positive student outcomes
  • Remaining on-site throughout the assignment period (virtual/remote work not available)
