Work full-time, Monday through Friday (7 hours each day), providing expert evaluation and guidance to elementary and middle school students presenting with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe. As a key support professional, you’ll collaborate with staff to identify student needs, deliver timely interventions, and ensure each child has access to the resources and support they require throughout the academic year.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Washington State School Psychologist certification (required)
  • Strong background working with students with varying disabilities in educational settings
  • Thorough understanding of special education laws, evaluations, and IEP development
  • Compassion, patience, and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Develop, interpret, and help implement IEPs in line with students’ strengths and needs
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
  • Support crisis intervention strategies and behavioral planning
  • Help foster an inclusive, positive environment conducive to learning for all students
