What You’ll Need:

• Valid Washington State certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary and middle school age groups
• Understanding of various disabilities and ability to adapt support accordingly
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual psychological assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff to develop IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative services to students with a range of disabilities
• Participate in eligibility determination and annual review meetings
• Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral support, and functional behavior assessments
• Serve as a resource for families, providing support and recommendations as needed
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
