Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid and current Washington ESA Certificate in School Psychology
- Experience in conducting evaluations, cognitive and behavioral assessments, and functional behavior analyses
- Expertise in developing IEPs and participating in multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication and consultation abilities with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills for effective time management and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for referred students across various grade levels
- Collaborate in the development, monitoring, and assessment of IEPs
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student interventions and accommodations
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
- Document assessments, services, and recommendations in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and assist with transition planning
