Key qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Washington State
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Background in psychological assessment, behavioral intervention, and counseling
• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS/RTI processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
• Previous school-based experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to guide educational planning and eligibility for special education
• Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and social wellbeing
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop interventions and instructional strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, crisis intervention, and the development of behavior support plans
• Collect, interpret, and report data to support evidence-based practices within the school community
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
