Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid and current Washington ESA Certificate in School Psychology
  • Experience in conducting evaluations, cognitive and behavioral assessments, and functional behavior analyses
  • Expertise in developing IEPs and participating in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and consultation abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Organizational skills for effective time management and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for referred students across various grade levels
  • Collaborate in the development, monitoring, and assessment of IEPs
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student interventions and accommodations
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
  • Document assessments, services, and recommendations in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in eligibility determination meetings and assist with transition planning
