Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and strengths
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
- Support students’ mental health and well-being through counseling and crisis intervention
- Participate in IEP, 504, and other student support meetings
- Consult with staff on strategies for enhancing classroom and school-wide climate
- Help facilitate district- and school-level initiatives related to student support services
