This full-time, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, families, and fellow professionals to help shape positive outcomes for young learners during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Louisiana DOE school psychologist certification is required
  • Previous school-based experience highly preferred
  • Comfortable working full-time, Monday through Friday, following the school district calendar
  • Ability to adapt to various school environments (school assignments and caseload details will be determined upon hire)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and consultation skills
  • Capable of satisfying time-sensitive credentialing, including a drug screen and district-required fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention strategies, including support for IEP and 504 plans
  • Provide counseling and behavioral support to students individually or in small groups
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance student learning and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and district policies
