Your schedule will typically follow standard school hours, approximately 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing a structured workday. As a valued member of the school’s support team, you'll engage in assessments, prepare reports, and participate actively in meetings to foster positive student outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably at the secondary level
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student needs
  • Prepare detailed, timely evaluation reports for multidisciplinary teams
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and other relevant team meetings
  • Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and families regarding student interventions
  • Support a positive school climate and promote mental health awareness
