Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (Washington state requirements)
- Prior experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong understanding of special education procedures and evaluation processes
- Excellent ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments, primarily for elementary students
- Interpret and communicate assessment results to staff and families
- Participate in eligibility, intervention, and IEP meetings
- Provide recommendations for interventions and supports tailored to individual needs
- Work closely with educators, counselors, and administrators to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district, state, and federal requirements
You can expect to work a consistent, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Your expertise will be valued with a competitive hourly range of $50-$60, reflective of your skills and dedication.
