Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
- NC certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Proven experience working with diverse K–12 populations
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Solid understanding of developmental, behavioral, and emotional student needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret a range of psychological and educational assessments for K–12 students
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify student strengths and areas for support
- Provide written and verbal reports, outlining recommendations and intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on student accommodations
- Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions
- Offer consultative support to teachers and families around academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Maintain timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
