High School Elementary School Psychologist in Knightdale, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid School Psychologist license in North Carolina
• NC certification as a School Psychologist (required)
• Proven experience working with diverse K–12 populations
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Solid understanding of developmental, behavioral, and emotional student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered practices in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret a range of psychological and educational assessments for K–12 students
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify student strengths and areas for support
• Provide written and verbal reports, outlining recommendations and intervention strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on student accommodations
• Support the implementation of evidence-based interventions
• Offer consultative support to teachers and families around academic, social, and behavioral needs
• Maintain timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
