Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid Tennessee School Psychologist certification or eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement interventions
  • Participate in the development and review of IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Provide counseling and behavior management support to students
  • Consult with teachers and support staff on academic and behavioral strategies
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
