Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students’ academic, emotional, and social growth during the 26-27 school year. This contract opportunity focuses on providing expert psychological services to students in grades K-6 within an educational setting close to La Grange Park, IL.

As a valued school psychologist, you’ll be instrumental in assessing student needs, facilitating intervention plans, and collaborating closely with educators and families to foster a nurturing environment. With a full-time schedule of 35-37 hours per week, you’ll play a vital role throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a School Psychologist, meeting all Illinois state requirements
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-6) preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with educational planning and special education processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to support student success
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide guidance and support
  • Maintain all required documentation and reports in a timely manner
  • Support positive, inclusive practices within the school community

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time; 35-37 hours/week, beginning as soon as July 27 or upon your availability
  • Standard hours: 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM; Wednesdays extend to 4:30 PM
