Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and creating intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, policies, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working with diverse student populations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to staff and families
- Document sessions and maintain confidential records in accordance with regulations
