Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure for School Psychologists (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working in school settings, specifically with elementary-aged children (K-6), highly valued
- Knowledge of special education laws, response to intervention (RTI), and the IEP process
- Strong collaboration, consultation, and communication skills
- Comfort with both CSY (current school year) and NSY (next school year) caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to elementary students, including assessments, direct interventions, and consultation
- Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development and positive school environments
- Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Support school initiatives for social-emotional learning and behavioral health
