Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure for School Psychologists (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in school settings, specifically with elementary-aged children (K-6), highly valued
  • Knowledge of special education laws, response to intervention (RTI), and the IEP process
  • Strong collaboration, consultation, and communication skills
  • Comfort with both CSY (current school year) and NSY (next school year) caseloads

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to elementary students, including assessments, direct interventions, and consultation
  • Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development and positive school environments
  • Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards
  • Support school initiatives for social-emotional learning and behavioral health
