School Psychologist | La Vista, Nebraska

Step into a rewarding contract assignment as a School Psychologist supporting elementary students for the upcoming academic year. This onsite role is an excellent opportunity to provide critical guidance, assessment, and intervention to help students thrive in their learning environments.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience working in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of psychological assessment tools and processes
• Ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions for a variety of learning and behavioral needs
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with students, teachers, and parents
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to manage documentation and multiple cases efficiently
• Dedication to promoting an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results for students
• Implement prevention, intervention, and crisis response strategies as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Consult with school staff to enhance classroom management and promote positive student behavior
• Participate in meetings and provide training, recommendations, and insight regarding student well-being
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with federal, state, and school guidelines

This is a fully onsite contract opportunity for 37.5 hours per week, running from August 31, 2026 to May 27, 2027. You’ll work with a highly supportive team and make a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys.
