This is a contract role working exclusively onsite with elementary-age children, providing essential psychological services in a dynamic, supportive school environment. With two positions open, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with dedicated educators and support staff, while serving a diverse student caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification in school psychology
- Strong experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools, positive behavioral interventions, and evidence-based counseling
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful school climate
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and wellbeing
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans in collaboration with staff and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide informed recommendations
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Promote positive behavioral supports and mental health initiatives within the school setting
- Maintain accurate, timely records and required documentation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues
